I would add cross members on the sides like you have on the far wall. That will stiffen it up much better. I do realize they will be in the way during RV work, but remove the ones in your way, then re-attach when you work on another section.
If you later want to enclose the shelter, they sell fiberglass waving roofing in 12 foot lengths, once used to make outhouse roofs with. In the plain white-ish color, not green, That would let in much natural light.
