We consider Arizona to be the RV state!!!! Never had problems. With everyone's responses, it makes me wonder what the person was doing that was hassled and/or what did their rig look like (a drug dealing van????).....just a thought, I have no idea. I can't figure out any reason RVs would be a problem.....in fact, the AZ tourist board ADVERTISES for everyone to "come to AZ"...it's a big business for them.
