Flat tires on I-75, northbound, in FL
We drove I-75 from south of Naples, FL, today, to just over the border into GA, and observed something on the order of 12, or so, trailers on the side of the road, the owner's changing out flat tires....

Very interesting.
On March 26 we drove 260 miles on I-75 from Port Charlotte to I-10.
I'm not sure we even saw one trailer or vehicle in that stretch with flat tires.
I'd be curious to know what the causes were for the flats. Aged-out tires, under inflation, over inflation, worn out tires, road hazards (nails)?
We were traveling very early morning when the temps were low and I'm wondering if you were traveling during the heat of the day. And I know it was hot down there today.
Seeing as how it was only RV's that you saw (at least that's all you mentioned, besides the toad) I'm wondering if it wasn't due to excessive heat conditions on cheap, aged-out, or under inflated tires.
We had some friends who had a blowout on their fifth wheel last Saturday near Tampa on I-75. It was due to running on 9 year old tires.
If it was due to construction debris you should have seen all types of vehicles with flats. I didn't notice any rough road conditions near construction sites which would have caused issues.
