Weight was around 3,300 lb. With automatic transmission. - stripitExplorerWe went the opposite direction and tow a Cadillac SRX, love the comfort when we use it.
- netjamExplorerTow a dodge dart. Leave in neutral......nothing else needed.
- STBRetiredExplorerWe tow a Ford Edge, but you need to make sure you get the proper transmission. Requires a battery disconnect, but we installed one from Roadmaster that disconnects the battery as soon as the umbilical is connected.
- tenbearExplorerOlder Subarus, manual transmission, are a good car to tow but the last couple of years, Subaru has stated they are now not towable. I have towed a 2006 Subaru since it was new and still do. I don't know what I would choose to tow now.
- j-dExplorer IIYou can add nearly every small sedan that has a manual transmission. Check Motorhome Magazine Annual Towing Guide then verify in Owner's Manual to be sure. We tow a Corolla with manual five-speed. Good reliable car, besides.
- jerseyjimExplorerChevy HHR. Automatic. Pull a fuse and go. (Used, of course, no longer made.)
- AvaExplorerUsed Honda CRVs are popular to tow. I have an 03 CRV that weighs about 3500 lbs. Depends what your total weight and towing limit is.
