- GrumpyandGrandmExplorerNot to be used on rubber roofs since it contains "petroleum distillates".
- Wet_CoastExplorerUsed the stuff on a lapseam joint on my aluminum roof last winter.
Worked for a couple of months. During a trip this summer on the rough frost heaved roads of Alberta, it cracked right along the seam again.
I will be up there this weekend with the heat gun and scraper to get all of that stuff out of there and do it right.
I would strongly suggest using it only as a temporary "on the road" fix. - chastExplorer IIHi--we have used it on a Class A, Class C and an Airstream trailer with good results. Purchased at Ace Hardware in either black or white, and at Lowes in a clear variety. Doesn't cover much area, but goes on liquid and solidifies to stop leaks. Years ago we used the Plasti-dip that you use on tool handles which we found in spray cans in various colors--did a fine job as well. Try it, you'll like it!
