I'm replacing the carpet in my rig this year. I have talked to a lot of folks and the vinyl planks is the favorite. The waterproof is the biggest reason. It's easy to install, you have a ton of choices, and it looks good.
For me, my requirements are:
strong to handle the dogs' feet;
Waterproof;
Warm look (no cold stone look);
Easy to clean;
Easy to install (a friend is doing it for me).
So far, the vinyl plank is meeting all those requirements.
