Floor Mats

Well after months of searching, I finally found quality floor mats that fit an E-450 chassis on my class C. They fit perfect and look great. They are WeatherTech #W51. Just look up Ford Econoline E-series. $54.95 plus $15 shipping.
  • I've used WeatherTech for quite some time, but Ford makes a very nice all-weather mat for the E-450 chassis which is what we use in our Winnebago.
  • I have had a tough time finding front mats for the Chevy Express Van chassis on my mini-mh. There are a lot labeled "semi-custom", or "fits more than one vehicle". In reality, those are completely generic, and are of roughly the size needed. The problem is that the van floor has distinct humps that would be a problem for a mat with some rigidity, unless it was truly custom fitted and molded.

WeatherTech does not make front mats for it, for some reason. I did find a GM part that is around $150 for the pair, but I was looking for something more reasonable. Well yesterday at Wal-Mart, I bought two small-ish rubber door mats. Nubs on the top side, a mild texture on the bottom side. I don't know the exact size, but they fit quite nicely. I could trim them a bit but it's not essential. I installed them upside down so the nibs hold to the carpet. The up-facing side is a lot like the texture you see on a truck with rubber floors rather than carpeting. They might stay in place flipped the other way too, I'll try both ways. All for $2.88 a piece.
  • We have Weathertech mats in our Suburban; made right here in the good old USA!
