Fluid change for Allison 3000 transmission
Just had my Allison 3000 transmission changed W/ new filters . The mechanic used Valvoline DEX VI ATF fluid. A full synthetic fluid. My question is will this fluid be OK for the Allison trans.

I just had mine done at Freightliner and they didn't tell me the type of fluid used. I guess it may be a good idea if I find out just in case I have to add some later on.
