Fluid change for Allison 3000 transmission
Just had my Allison 3000 transmission changed W/ new filters . The mechanic used Valvoline DEX VI ATF fluid. A full synthetic fluid. My question is will this fluid be OK for the Allison trans.

I had the cooling system flushed during the same service as the Tranny. Also had to have the A/C recharged. Just those three items was $1700!!!
