The OP used a poor example for what he tried to say. However, he is right on the quality of the FJ going down - at least on those we used. Our local FJ on I-85 north of Atlanta used to have a decent restaurant - gone. RV pumps worked well and the readers always worked - not now. Water and air - gone. It has become more of a big gas station with diesel pumps. The truckers store has gotten smaller with less variety and the help very poor. Even the steam table junk food is bad.
It appears that Pilot is treating them like ugly step-children, wishing they would just go away. Even the volume of truckers stopping there has dropped to less than half of what it was a few years ago. Sad because I was a flag waver for them and always stopped at several between Atlanta and Wyoming every year.
