FMC Magazine April 2017 issue

On page 20, a gentleman inquired about flat towing a 2015 Silverado behind his class A. I have the same situation with my 2016 Silverado and have a much better solution to the problem and some other pointers. If anyone knows this guy please pm me and I'll give you my phone number to give to him.
  • Thanks! I found his number after searching the internet and made contact.

Why not post your solution here and we can all benefit.
  • I would like to know what is the procedure is to tow the silverado
  • It was posted earlier but my solution was to go to Harbor Freight and buy a 4 in 1 power pack. It is a portable power unit that recharges with a 110 receptacle. Set it in the floor board and my brake buddy plugs right in. This also provides you with a power pack for recharging cell phones, jump start a car capability and a small air compressor. Have used it several times with no issues. Next, I bought a wireless tow bar light that goes on the back of the truck or golf cart since the cart rides in the back of the truck when towing. The tow bar light gets it signal from the plug at the back of the motorhome. It is the same type plug that one would use for your tow vehicle. Cost of the power pack $59. Cost of wireless tow bar light kit $208. No wire splicing, no labor cost. So far no problems at all...
