Thanks, everyone. I'm surprised that any meat at all was allowed. I wasn't planning to bring any meat at all or fresh produce either, just in case. I've heard stories about people having their canned goods confiscated, however. It seems to depend on the individual border agent.
In the past, we've entered the U.S. with Roger's syrup (can't buy that in the U.S., and DH really likes it), as well as Bisto (I can't make decent gravy without it) and Shake & Bake (more varieties here than in the U.S.) No problems with that. Returning from the U.S. to Canada, we've brought buttermilk ranch salad dressing, which I can't find in Canada, and our allowed allotment of rum. :) That was just traveling in a vehicle, no RV, so no full kitchen. This will be a new thing for us, going with a motorhome.
