I would have to agree with those who said that bringing the furry kids along wasn't the primary reason for buying an RV but was a fringe benefit since we really don't like to leave them or kennel them when we travel. We are new to the RV lifestyle but in the 4 months since we bought our Itasca Class A the pups get crazy when they see us pull up to load, knowing they are going on another adventure!
We have two furry kids - MacDuff is a Border Collie/Springer mix rescue, and Piper is a English Springer Spaniel rescue - along with our youngest human kid, a 14-year old daughter. Both pups are excellent travelers! Now if I could just keep them off the dash when we go off shopping... I always have to keep glass cleaner nearby as their little nose prints end up wiped all over the windshield!
