Ford E450 class c with V10 slow to start sometimes

I have a 04 class c with the v10. After it sit for some time it will turn over for 5-10 sec be for starting up. It dose not do this all the time mostly after it sits for a week or two. It has done it...

Absolutely. Restricted fuel filter slows fuel flow, which is what cools the pump. Less flow = more heat = short pump life.
