A valid observation. But, there is quite some overlap in their affect on driving.
Both help reduce rut tracking, vague steering, sensitivity to cross winds, etc.
By not fitting a Panhard rod on the F53 until 2005, Ford allowed a complete cottage industry to fill the void.
But, many view a steering stabilizer as more a band-aid (a cure after the fact), the Panhard rod more as a preventive.
That is not to suggest that a steering stabilizer does not perform a desirable function, but on that chassis, it would not be the first thing to add.
If the OP tells us what changes he has already made to the chassis or gives a more detailed explanation of what he wants to correct/improve it might change our recommendations.
