If you look at the e-brake unit from the drivers side just above where the brake cable runs to the unit you should be able to see a male pipe plug. This is what your looking for take it out and trans fluid should be level with the bottom of the plug hole. It only takes a few oz. I put some trans fluid in a pump oil can with a long flexible spout and fill till trans fluid starts to run out then put the plug back in and hit the area with brake clean.
Some times it helps to put your head up by the bottom of the floor and the back of your head on the inside of the frame rail on the drivers side.
