I certainly agree with you there. Sometimes you don't know something for sure until you throw it out there. I predict success on that front.
It would be interesting to see the Travato floor plan (or similar) on the Sprinter and Transit chassis. Not sure it would work though, as you need the width of the Promaster to make it work.
I think key to selling to the non-retired class is for the vehicle to have dual use. Opening up the back to a big storage area so you can use it as an actual van is a HUGE deal. Most people I show my van to dig that the most and you can see the wheels turning when you look in their faces.
If I were willing to spend the bread that Davydd is spending (two Travatos + a nice E-class sedan)to design your own custom B, I'd probably still want a similar floor plan, but I'd tweak it a bit knowing some of what I know now.
