Great West Van has developed a Promaster design called the
Classic and Sportsmobile will convert Promasters. Pleasure-way dropped it's Ford Excel model but has not attempted to add a true B to replace it. Waiting for the Ford Transit? LTV is pretty much done with anything but Sprinter for a Class B and same as Pleasure-way has been putting more emphasis on their small Class Cs. Airstream dropped their Chevy model. I suspect Airstream, Pleasure-way, Leisure Travel Vans and Roadtrek will be more interested in the Transit than the Promaster. Winnebago has always been about the lowest costs. I am not sure what Great West Vans strategy is. They haven't moved very fast on pushing the Promaster but then again they have other issues with moving to Alabama. Advanced RV has not expressed any interest in the Promaster or the Transit for that matter. Advanced RV has always been more enamored with the 24 foot Sprinter and the idea of inside bike storage. They seem to have no interest but in making the best B as possible. Promaster would never fit into those plans.
