I am also suspect of the transmission, BUT would anyone know what in the transmission would be causing the chattering or pulsing in the drivetrain on hard acceleration climbing a hill ??

My next question then would be.... Would a surging or misfiring engine cause driveline chatter or driveline pulsing upon acceleration while climbing a hill ??
