Ford V10 engine surging idle and power , help please ??

Will check the driveshaft also regardless just to be sure, (thanks for the idea)

BUT I am wondering if the U joints would cause problems if I have not changed my speed traveling, and I only get the shaking/ pulsing/ lugging when the engine downshifts to rev higher to climb a hill.
