Leave me try to answer a few of your questions. My issues are with Forest River and RV One Superstores which is a conglomerate of Buffalo RV, Orlando RV, Des Moine RV, Albany RV, and RVDirect. I've been told by the vice president of that conglomerate that he has notifying his people not to talk with me because I am rude. I tried to call this man and was blown off.
When we had the PDI, we were furious. We were told the coach would be washed and waxed. No even close to what we saw. We were told the generator does not stay running. We checked the carb and can not find anything wrong. You will have to take it to a Cummins/Onan dealer for service. Since when does a diesel generator have a carb. We were told the light bulb in the micro wave may be burned out you will have to get a new one. I could go on and on. We questioned hundreds of items and they wrote them down on a paper, but told us that they needed authorization to do the repairs.
Now, the coach was delivered to them in Nov. of 2012. Near 90% of the items we questioned were clearly visible, but on the day we are supposed to take the coach home they still have not been addressed? We took the coach home and documented all its deficiencies with pictures and a verbal explanation of the pictures. We sent the 9 pages of explanations and a CD to our salesman and dealer in Orlando where we bought the coach. They in turn sent it to parts and service in Buffalo, who in turn sent it to customer service in Albany who in turn sent it to warranty at Forest River in Indiana. To date no one from any place has called to discuss the needed repairs. I've gotten email from Forest River saying the coach needs to go back to the dealer. They want me to blindly take my coach back to a dealer that had it for 5 months and never touched it. Am I crazy? Forest River told me in an email that the coach should have never left the factory. Problem is it did and now their shoddy craftsmanship is my problem.
As far as being arrested. Ever been in a conversation the went from just that, to kicking and screaming because the person you were conversing with only wants to offer excuses and not address the issues? Ever been arrested because the other person made accusations that did not happen, but you were an outsider and the officers listened to them for no other reason than they were on home turf. Been there Done that!!!
