Here is the lesson to take away from this:
No matter if you are buying a House, RV, Boat, Car, Motorcycle, etc, it is ALWAYS easier to walk out the door and let the deal die than to sign on the dotted line when you know that the item is not as represented or the paperwork is not 100% in order.
I have made this mistake when buying a Chevrolet Cruze. The final paperwork was not correct, they were trying to pad the price over what was agreed upon, and they did correct it after much fighting before I would sign. However, in the future, my dignity is more important than that and I will simply stand up and leave without a word. At the time, I WANTED this car, but looking back on it, it is just a Chevy Cruze, there are probably 10,000 sitting on a dealers lot now.
Same with the Berkshire motorhome. Every Tom, Dick and Harry dealership carries this brand now. You can't go to an RV park without seeing one. There are three diesel motorhomes in the RV park I am in now....My Safari Cheetah, and TWO Berkshires. Easier to move on.
We are all human, and we work ourselves up so much that we sign that dotted line against our better judgement. I can guarantee you that if the OP would have refused to sign that dotted line until all issues were corrected, they would have all been corrected tomorrow.
