Is that what you'll always be doing or just a one time thing.
Of course this game is sometimes about $ only... In my world I would not buy a coach around 1 event, but rather mostly for the median of usage. I would improvise and work solutions for the event itself.
However, if the event plays into the greater usage and justifies the expen$e of a new coach, then go for it!
Thank you all for the information. I've been almost full circle with camping; tent, pop up, travel trailer and now 5th wheel for the last 10 years. We've been looking to upgrade and have been doing a lot of soul searching to see what our plans are going to be for the next several year. My teenage kids still love to go but will be going off on their own in the next few years. Retirement is now within reach over the next few years and for the past 4-5 years we've been fitting in longer motorcycle trip, usually with another couple.
We're looking at travel and even considering wintering in an RV in the future. I see advantages and disadvantages to both 5er and class A. I'm leaning toward class A, better half is still drawn toward the room, fit and finish of a 5er toy hauler, but agrees that the trip itself from point A to point B would be nicer in a class A.
