House batteries never provide the amperage needed to run the hydraulic pump unless plugged into to shore power or running the generator. The only way to provide satisfactory power is direct wire to the chassis battery with the engine running. This is what Lippert instructs manufacturers to do.
I've tried it every way over the past 3 years and only now is it working correctly.
