Effy, I have the 2014 ACE 30.1 its on the 18K chassis. The front has a factory track bar. I was thinking about putting one on the rear. I have read all about the CHF some say it works some say it doesn't so I haven't done that yet. What did you mean by (reversing the z brackets) on the rear? I was also thinking about having a front end alignment done, the sticker on the drivers wall recommends doing that. The front tires seem to be wearing ok so I wasn't sure if that was needed though. Mine doesn't drive really bad but it needs something to make it a little more relaxing to drive..
The CHF worked for me. Tremendous improvement. I would imagine the lighter the coach, the better response to sway bar adjustment as it has less weight to manage. The z brackets on the rear are part of the CHF. the rear has a sway bar already and the z brackets are part of the lower connection point. In order to adjust you have to reverse the brackets. Pretty easy. I would guess on heavier coaches you might need an after market set of bars, but on something as light as the ACE I can't se where it would be much improvement over the stock ones after they are adjusted. I had to do an alignment too. Costly oversight within the first 4 months. Totally chopped a tire inside of a few thousand miles. CHF will tighten up the side roll, wander and push and tracking. Weighing it and correct PSi will soften it. The ACE is too light to really benefit from the springs. Unless you pay money for air bags, softer springs or shocks, correct PSI is the ticket. Before weighing it I was riding on bricks based on the "guessed" weight on the sticker. Got a real weight and found PSI was way too high. Much, much better now. And monitored with the TPMS for good measure.
