Actually, I've been planning on renting a class C to determine I am with driving such a huge vehicle. The Cruise America dealer 200 miles away is just a rental site. My local CW doesn't rent.
My current RV is a 94 class B. The last C I drove was 40 years ago with a 19 foot leisure Time on a Ford Econoline that had the back torched behind the cab; well before cut-away vans were built and no classes of motorhome. As I recall, they were called mini-motorhome or chopped vans. How times have changed. FYI, the camper was OK, but the Econoline was a piece of junk, even when new.
