If using the stove top for heat is so WRONG, then it's WRONG to use it for cooking also. Now, folks will criticize because it produces condensation, and it probably does. But the fact is ... if you are freezing, it works!.

There is a big difference. Most cooking is one hour or LESS of burner operation.. Heating the RV is many hours And often when cooking you run the range hood exhaust fan. But NOT when heating.
So I will stick with using the stove for heat.. DANGEROUS.

It is often printed in RV and fire safety materials NEVER to use your stove as a source for heat.
And for new RV'ers reading this forum you NEED to know that it is never ok to use the stove as a source of heat in your RV.
Its one thing to say, oh its ok, just never go to sleep with the stove on.
But in reality when the stove is on when you are awake it is very easy to forget and go outside, fall asleep on the couch watching TV, or whatever. Use just the oven and it's even easier to forget and have that unseen flame go out and you are looking at causing a dangerous and deadly propane incidence.
IMHO never use the RV propane stove as a source of heat. If you can afford to burn thru the propane it takes to do that....you can afford to buy a safe source of heat such as a ceramic heater. :C
