There again, if this is unsafe because of fumes, or whatever, then the stove is unsafe to use for anything ... including cooking! Be smart, it's still an open flame.
Yup it's an open flame when cooking, It is not only the flame that's gonna kill you it will be the propane when the burner goes out. Which when cooking you are standing RIGHT THERE one foot in front of it when cooking.
When you are cooking, you are standing right there, you will KNOW if that flame goes out and that propane is now coming out. Your actions are instant because you are right there.
Turn those burners on for heat and go about your business within the coach and/or out of the RV and you will NOT know if that flame goes out.
When the flame goes out you have pure propane entering your coach as long as the knob is turned on. And unless you are 'standing right there in front of that stove' you will not know. Putting your whole family in danger.
And trust me your propane detector is not always going to save you.
I had the knob of the stove bumped on and I did not know it. Propane seeks its lowest point......the lowest point was the sink right next to the stove. It NEVER went to the floor to allow the detector to come on.
