fridge

Last fall we bought a Bounder with a side by side Demestic refrigerator. It worked fine last fall but now that we are getting it ready to go camping the fridge is not getting cold. The light comes on but no cold. Any help would be appreciated.

    Bill,

    I am a little unclear, by Demestic do you mean Dometic (the manufacturer)or Domestic as in Residential.

    If it is a Dometic, it is an absorption refrigerator and it will take a while to "pump down". If it is, take the model number to the web and see how many others are having similar problems.

    If it is a residential, they can also take a while and will eat your batteries while it is trying.

    Your Demestic refridgerator may take more time then you think too get cold. Check the back for green or yellowish deposets. Not good.

    Best thing to do is put your model number into an Internet search and then see what it says. You can find service manuals for most things that way.
