I did check under the pass. seat behind the drivers seat
as told but only a door you open to get to the battery.

Was the "grey knob" that you turned at the propane tank accessed behind the thin cover right over the middle of the rear bumper? If yes, this is the only on/off valve for the propane tank. If your stove burner still light day after day after turning this off (Turn clockwise until it stops to turn off) then the valve is broken and you need to go where a tech with propane experience can replace it for you. Do not wait to have this done. If the valve was working correctly, once you turn it off you would be able to light the stove once and it will burn until all of the propane in the gas lines has burned off - then it should go out and not be able to be lit again. So you get three or so minutes of flame and then gone. Something is very wrong it this does not happen. Don't try to deal with this yourself. Let a pro do it.
