- Pangaea_RonExplorerMy son has friction hinges on his TT door, that stays wherever it is positioned, and it works great, apparently up to 30 mph?
I'd like to add some to mine, but haven't looked yet. - DSDP_DonExplorerMany designs are used to hold the front doors open. Typically, you have to take a look at it and see what needs tightening. Some need the pivot point tightened, some have a half round set of arms that pinch a round bolt and the arms need to be squeezed shut.
If it's a constant problem, some people will leave the arm, but add an external piston to the door to keep it open. If it's done right they look nice.
