Frustrated Chevy buyer
Why do Mfrs. seem to shy away from building on the Chevy? Is it cost? I'm frustrated trying to find our next B+ so equipped. I have been very pleased with my '06 Chevy chassis under our 30+ foot B+...

However, our traveling friends have the same size Class C as ours with only a lowly Ford 460 V8 in it. When they're leading, I have to keep my foot light on the V10 accelerator all the time to keep from rear-ending them. I guess Chevy V8's must also be vastly superior to the good old Ford 460 V8. :)
I doubt they are vastly superior to either Ford. But they are not inferior either, which is what some people are suggesting. From what you are saying, I think the Chevy would dust the 460. I have the same size C as you, and mountains are very low effort for it.
