I once tried to siphon gas out of my E350. Had no luck trying a few different tubes and hoses.
If it is still running, I would take a drive and run it as low as I could get it. If the fuel pump has any life left maybe you could jumper power to it with the gas line opened at the fuel filter and get most of the fuel out. I changed a car fuel pump, inside the tank, once, and it was very tough lowering the tank at a quarter full.
