It cost me .31 cent a mile for a 3600 miles trip this month, this includes the diesel generator running an hour or two every day for 25 days.

I just had a computer print out and my RV has been doing 9.3 miles per gallon average since new, 73,000 miles on it.

How funny, we are twins separated at birth. I've got 7,320 miles on the coach.

I get an average of about 8 mpg on most trips with the MH in the signature line. When diesel was $4 a gallon that was 50 cents a mile. So I could figure fuel costs by the one-way miles. Vegas is a 500 mile drive for me, so I know a round trip to Vegas would have been about $500. Now it's under $400!

thanks everyone i got a lot of great info we will be checking out 2005 knight

We average 7.3 with our 400 isl and weight 34100 lbs. We tow a 3400 lb Chevy HHR.

Just figure on 5-9 and be happy when it is higher than the bottom number. In 8885 miles last summer out west 9.3mpg.

I have averaged 9 mpg over a total of 44K miles, towing dinghy, tow dolly, enclosed car trailer and 600+ hours on my Diesel Generator.

yes i can afford it just trying to get an idea. we are thinking of trading up from our 5er and diesel truck
