Last winter's Big Adventure, I did regular stations half the time, trucks stops the other half. I google maps the regular stations and make sure the pumps are parallel to the building and that there's room on the outside pump. I've had to wait for the outside pump a few times.
The Loves/Flying J/Pilot truck lanes are pretty disgusting. Spilled fuel everywhere, fuel all over the pump, and apparently the bathroom is too far to go for some drivers. I have a Pilot cash card and the only place I tried to use it, I ended up going inside anyway.
