Yup, they got a good thing going. $10,000 in federal income tax credits to anyone who can pony up the cash to buy a Tesla car...

On top of the 4.9 billion, yes that is billion dollars the US government has "invested" in Tesla motors.

I really don't think we need to look at any of that companies products or technologies for "efficiency"
