Hybrid/electric only makes sense when you have stop and go driving... city buses, garbage trucks, and delivery trucks. The frequent braking is used to recharge the batteries. I often go hours in my MH without ever touching the brakes... so much for recharging the batteries. A 45' MH with the top totally covered in solar panels is going to generate less than 5 HP in perfect conditions. So much for solar being much help.:S
