My electric vehicle has a 17KW battery. AT 120 KPH I burn through the battery in less than an hour. It weighs about 2000 pounds. Ours is a commuter car so its rare we run that fast that long but exatrapolating out for weight and power required you would need a big ass battery to do the job for motorhome enviroment. I am a huge proponent of electric vehicles but I would think we are a decade away for even a smaller fully electric motorhome yet.
What makes electric vehicles so good for commuting in and out of cities is the regen that comes from start stop driving, something that a motorhome won't be doing. Our cheapie Electric vehicle has a rated range of 135 KM but in straight city driving we can go more than 150 and still have significant km left on the range meter. Having said that we never seem to do more than 60 or 70 KM per day which is what we bought it to do. Great little car though. Best driving and performing car we have ever owned and dead cheap to operate.
