Plenty of interesting thoughts and ideas bandied about here, but it seems that there is no single way to achieve the desired results of a completely electric coach from living requirements to driving needs. A blend of technologies may achieve that, but is not currently viable from an economic point.
If and when the technology becomes available it probably will not be due to consumer demand in the RV market. That market is simply too small. Where it will come from is via the over the road fleet customers and their proving that it will work commercially. Since Freightliner is the biggest player in both markets (RV chassis and commercial trucks) I would see them being the possible technology leader going forward as someone who can and may develop this possibility.
Unfortunately I doubt that I will see commercial applications like many envision in my lifetime.
