gas mileage
ihave a 2005 pace arrow 37a and must say that the gas mileage is very bad,like 5mpg, although it runs fine and pulls the grades very easily, with no strain,is this about right?I It has aworkhorse engine w22. thank you.

- Check that your spark plug gaps are set at .060 and maybe replacing your O2 sensors. If you hook a OBDII gauge while you are driving you can pin point any problems. As a basic, your air/fuel ratio should be 14.6-14.7 after the engine is warmed up and on a level cruise.

Our '04 has the 8.1
Maybe '01 to '06- Mountain driving, windy days, excess speed and driving habits all affect what we get, but flat land, nice day and 55 - 58 mph in a 36' coach with V-10 we get 8-10 mpg, not using dash A/C. Proper tire inflation for your load would be another thing to check.

In my 05 Pace 37c we would get 6-7 mpg driving at 65-68mph the faster we drove the worse it got especially if transmission was always down shifting.
