Thanks for the responses. And yes, I did consider each option BEFORE embarking on doing so. The closest "safe" spot for us was a roadside rest 10 miles down the interstate. I felt that was too far to drive. We were on a very narrow shoulder. The tire shop was less than a mile from where we were but the guy didn't have a truck big enough to change the tire there. My options were limited. Anyway, Geico would have paid for the tow but with the uncertainty of when that might happen, I opted to go to the tire shop. Geico is not suggesting the air valve/line repair was caused from me moving the coach. They are saying it is simply failure due to age/whatever but not the blowout. We will see what they say Monday. Thanks again to everyone. I did ask for opinions. Geico is one of the few insurance companies that offer full timer insurance. We had Foremost prior but after replacing two windshields they became stupid expensive, so we went with Geico....Dennis
