Folks, the OP is talking about going to an FMCA Rally where they have all kinds of sites available. The OP has decided to stay in the generator 24 hour lot as have all those around him. He shouldn't be surprised if his neighbors run their generator 24 hours and I doubt he will be surprised.
I really don't understand all the paranoia about running generators anyway. Sure, folks are killed every year by CO but it's usually from disregarding all safety rules. 100's of thousands of boats, motorhomes and portable generators are used all the time with no problems at all. I wouldn't be surprised to find out more folks are killed each year from getting kicked in the head by a mule than by breathing CO from a generator.
