50 gallons of fuel should give you about 100 hours of run time so if you only plan to use it for 4 days (96 hours) you "should be" OK but you will just have to watch your fuel. As mentioned, if the genset runs out of fuel you will still have about 1/4 of fuel to get you to the fuel station.
