Yes the Genturi is a good idea to get the exhaust up and away from the RV.
As far as the question about the AC on the roof I'm assuming you are asking if the AC will pull in Carbon Monoxide while running. The answer is no, there is no exchange of air from the outside to the inside through the AC unit. So yes it is safe to run the generator with Genturi while the AC is on. However I would close any open roof vents as that is a direct path into the RV.
