Guess I'll have to bite the bullet. I don't have a shop anymore so I need to use someone else and they all specify at least six- seven hours( 125.00/hr) to do it. the valve job is nothing .. I agree and very easy just a few minutes but access and pulling out the slide is not on mine !! I have no access without removing the front fiberglass front ,Disconnecting slide hydraulics ,electrical and fuel lines it needs a fork lift to remove it (12.5 KW )removing the covers and then we repeating the job to replace it with a forklift at least according to the service guys I talked to ( 3 shops including onan ) is more than I can do in an RV park. Not so easy .
One guy I campfire talked to had 1800 hours and at 1000 he had pulled it checked and needed no adjustment so he was re thinking having it done at 2000 since he like myself was now full time and no access to a shop. Others in the group conversation weren't even close to the hours ( in the hundreds ) but didn't even know it needed valves adjusted. Oh well
