How often should I change the oil in my Onan generator?

We change oil annually on our gas Onan when prepping and de-winterizing our rig for the first trip of the season. It only takes a couple of quarts and have always used synthetic over the last decade. Our Onan has just over 1K hours and is a decade old, I guess we change oil roughly every 100 hours.
