Brian, it does sound like you have a major draw on your batteries. Then again, because of the issues you describe with the Xantrex, your inverter may be having issues. I've never done any trouble shooting on the Xantrex but I understand they have an excellent customer service department. I'd call them first thing in the AM and have one of their techs assist you in troubleshooting it....Dennis
