A 7500 Onan Diesel is ONLY 62.5 amps TOTAL. Regardless of what the breaker/s state. That means you only have 31.5 amps on each leg. A 8000 QD Onan Diesel is 66.5 amps. One of the BIG misconceptions RV'ers have is HOW their RV Genset is rated. You CANNOT take the Model as its correct amp rating. The Model will always be HIGHER than it actual total amp supply. So, the OP's Onan was tripping due to his overloading the Genset. Over 90 outside and the AC units were probably at 15 amps each----30 amps. ADD the Inverter/charger at bulk mode and depending on his power share setting may have been drawing up to 12 amps. We now have 42 amps total. ADD the Convection at 10 to 12 amps depending on the model and you now have 54/55 amps on a 62.5 amp Genset. That does not take into account the refer up to 4 amps. and so on, on other appliances that may be running. Lets say his 120 side of the water heater at 11/12 amps if heating. The plain fact is on most RV's over 35 feet, you can easily overload the Genset if at 8k or lower. If you have a EMS(Intellitec or PCS), THEY are programmed to account for the ACTUAL amp supply of the various Gensets the OEM installs. In this scenario, IF he had a OEM installed EMS(energy management system), once the RV approached the 62.5 amp rating it would start to shed the 120 appliances in the programmed shed order. Doug
