generator overheat, any ideas??
2004 holiday rambler.. 7500 onan diesel. Going down the road will run about 30-45 mins sitting in the driveway about 15mins then shut down...it flashes the 1 code then the 3-3 code for over heat shut ...

Removing the cap with the engine hot relieves pressure in the cooling system. When the system is pressurized, the boiling point is raised significantly. When you suddenly relieve this pressure it will immediately boil and stream out. This is not a good indicator of what the problem may be.
