I vote for the mouse nest.....Get down and look at the screen where the cooling air exits. You may find sticks, leaves and maybe dry mouse parts. Not easy to clear out. Been there, done that.

Been there and done that, its very clean under the genny, I think it just gets poor air circulation and I think the exhaust being close to the cold air intake does not help, they don't put a lot of science into these RV's when they build them, maybe I will try a fan at 1st to see if it works than if it does than time to reengineer the air intake and exhaust pipe.
